For those who would rather a more physical vacation, camping, whitewater rafting, kayaking and hunting are some activities that can be taken into consideration.

The states of Goa and snow-capped Himachal in India serve more than ten million visitors during this season. Goa is known for its New-Year celebrations. Fresh snow and mighty Himalayas attract the visitors to Himachal. During the months of November and December, the scenery is especially beautiful.

The Maldives is another big tourist-attraction in December. Gifted with the weather, sand and sea, this place offers more than recreation and serene beauty. The fantastic under-water Coral gardens are a feast for the eyes. The best part about visiting the Maldives is that you don’t require a visa. You simply get Entry-permits on arrival. When in the Maldives, you soak up those natural sights that are denied to many people on this planet. Snorkeling is one of the more popular sports in Maldives due to its under-water beauty. New Year celebrations are massive. Resorts in Nepal prepare special camping sites in the foothills of Himalayas where tourists can enjoy the bon-fire and dance all night. For those who like a drink or two, it’s good to know that alcohol is very cheap.

Everywhere across the world, May and June are major holiday seasons where one can enjoy time with their loved ones. So why not plan a trip to a where the entire family can find something that suit their own tastes?

Let’s start our exploring holiday from North America. Destinations like California, Midwestern United States and Canada possess the lion’s share of tourism. The Southern hemisphere is famous for reversal of seasons. So if you wish to enjoy snow-covered beauty and the most amazing landscapes, New Zealand is the right place for you. From colorful geysers to dormant volcanoes, exploring an ancient tribe to admiring the Southern Islands, you’ve got everything here. You ought to visit the destinations with beauty that will fascinate even Peter Jackson, the director of the Lord of the Rings Trilogy.

Indian subcontinent also attracts millions during this time to admire the scenery of Himalayas. The gateway to Himalayas is opened from Rohtang in Himachal. You will not find any freely available accommodation in this part of country in this season.
